For the people who have read MY MANY THREADS it's been a rough couple of months!!
I still love my job, and when it's easy, I get paid to.. uh.. POST HERE!!!
I just had my annual review... Had to drive a state away to get to my branch office, and start out at 630 am to get there by 10!! Not only did they take my recommendation to give a company award to my dispatcher (she works her ASS off!), they let me present the award!
Then when the review came up, they have a pretty basic rating system. Unsatisfactory, Performs adequately, Exceeds expectations and Outstanding. According to each of my last three Supervisors (yet ANOTHER story..) *NO-ONE* ever gets an Outstanding.. it's just not done. You have to save the President's dog while performing open heart surgery on the POPE to get one!!
I got TWO OUTSTANDINGS!!!
One on Innovation and the other on Customer Service.
That and a nice FAT raise!!
