Ok, so my hoped-for promotion hasn't come through yet, but something else has.
My CEO announced today (after being informed of my work by Awesome Boss) that I am the head of our new Social Media plan! Yes, this means that I will be getting paid to Twitter and use Facebook. *happy geek dance* No pay raise, but if I can get our company to be a measurable presence on new media, that would be an awesome thing to have on a resume.
I think some of the IT folks were a little surprised--most people here don't know how into social media I am. Exciting!
