I got a promotion. I was working as an Emergency Dispatch Operator for ABC Security. Now I'll be working as technical support/customer service. I start my training tomorrow. It lasts 5 weeks.
Best of all, with the promotion I got a choice of new schedules. I will work 4 days a week, 10 hour days, and have Sunday, Monday and Thursday off. That means every day I do work will be either a Monday or a Friday, never far from a day off. Woot.
