Next week I start training to do the receiving clerk's job whenever she goes on vacation.
Actually, the training started today. The magazine order came in, so I had to open all the totes, count all the different magazines inside, check the quantities against the invoice, and put the magazines in shopping carts for the vendor rep to put on the floor. Pretty easy work.
And when receiving clerk retires (she's not far away from that, I think), I probably get her job. Which is 7 to 3:30 or 5 to 1:30 Monday through Friday. No nights! No weekends! No unloading trucks! Probably a pay raise too!
