So, I pretty much love my job

Last night, as my boss was leaving, he said I'd need to rerack a group of servers in our testing environment in the basement, and to start at 9:30 or so. Then, he said this:

"I'll be in to help you with the reset."

so, 5 hours after his shift ends, he's coming back to help me rerack a ton of servers. I work in a department of 4 including him, and I'm REALLY glad I've got him as my boss. :-D

We stayed until 1:30 reracking servers. An hour and a half after my shift ended. I didn't mind, especially since bossman was there with me, knowing his shift started at 7AM. This is where I should have been working all along, not at <last company>. :-D :-D :-D

Don't you just love bosses who are there for you? Makes you understand why some people gladly lay down their lives for the people in charge.
