Sold some art!
I've been working with this group: www.hi-four.com and the basic idea is that we are a group of artists that do various projects and put them up for sale or display. The first series was a set of Mini Munny Dolls.
Mine sold within 2 hours of it being put up for sale, for $90! I don't get all of that money of course, they idea is that they get back the cost of the toy (I think like $12 or $13) then split what's left in half, and half goes to me and the other half goes towards getting the materials for our next project. It wasn't about the money anyway, more about getting some exposure as an artist.
I have a great feeling about this group! I'm super giddy right now, because this is the first time I've really done anything with my art, I've been struggling to find work in the design field for the past 5 months or so, but this really helps boost my lagging opinion of my work. Wewt!
