  • Recovering from a stroke.

Sorry for being late with the news. On February 9, I was admitted to the hospital following a stroke. It affected my right side; could not walk or write. It took several days in Neuro and a week and a half in Rehab. I'm home now, still recovering. Some days I'm almost back to normal, then the next day the weakness comes back.

Oh, bummer! I have a friend, a gamer, who used the game "Ingress" (a lot like Pokemon Go, made by the same people) as motivation to get out and walk. Once she was able to walk, obviously! It helped her quite a bit; she pretty much never needs to use her cane nowadays.

Good luck on the recovery. Strokes are nothing to take lightly--I lost a friend to that.
I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I can't get my head that far up my keister!

My husband had a stroke this past August. He had a second smaller one, not too long after that. But he’s been bouncing back and I am as proud of you as I am of him.
