I saw a scammer on Saturday afternoon. I was at my parents cabin in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin, and we went to the local gas station to ppick a few things up. While we were there, a guy was trying to buy a carton of cigarettes with a check made out to cash. He said "Sue said if the check went through the system, I could cash it here." Gas station lady replied "There is no Sue that works here. Did you mean Sarah?" "Yeah, it was Sarah." They took the check, and ran it through the machine, and they said it was declined, so he didn't cash his check, but I don't know if they were just playing along with him or not.
