I know of quite a few people who think giving me short crappy info should suffice. Such as, "it's over there," while waving their hand in a general direction. And then get mad when I don't get it. It's a pain in the ass when people do that. The fact you didn't harm them...:: clapclap:: I applaud you.

Another note: telling me you're looking for the one with the flowery scent when we're in bath and body works...I somehow didn't harm them.

Um *Melxb raises her hand slowly*, I had to ask 2 weeks ago about a coffee in Starbucks.
And I'm sure they were thrilled that you actually asked about the drinks instead of assuming every drink is called the same thing everywhere. You were smart! The girls in the OP were neither smart nor considerate. They treated the poor barista like a moron, when it was their fault for not knowing what they were getting, or at the very least not asking what they should order if they wanted a frozen drink.
There is a slight flaw in my character.

who is it that sells the Moolatté then? Maybe it's ... no.... I have no idea. I just remember they were my friend Tammah's favorite drink one summer

The only coffee-like drink I can stand is Tim Horton's Iced Cappucino. And I've discovered that I only like THEIR Iced cappucino After nearly giving myself a heart attack with a Second Cup version LOL...

When I worked at a coffee store, this happened all the time. Unfortunately, the fact that they ordered wrong was often the barista's "fault", and you ran a rather high risk of having the drink thrown at you.

I still remember this one woman. She ordered a latte. She got her plain, not sweet, hot latte. She drank almost all of it. Then she came back and started ranting and raving about how we made her the wrong thing, how she really ordered a frappuccino, do we think she is stupid....... throws cup. Too bad the manager always made us apologize for upsetting them and make a new drink and didn't let us throw them out of the store.

Moolatte (or whatever) is done at Dairy Queen, home of the nasty ice milk instead of ice cream.

I think I'm in the minority here, but I tend to *gasp!* read the menu before I order coffee. If I can't pronounce the name, then I memorise the description and tell the Starbucks person that; and to date, not a single one has ever gotten my order wrong.

I've always wanted to try a moolatte.
I'm afraid of the calories involved though, and it's hard to forget with a name like that. Moo- you are a cow for wanting to drink this ice cream based coffee beverage, or you will be after having a few of them.

I found out yesterday, while fulfulling my Blizzards craving, there is NO coffee in the Moolatte, just a coffee flavored syrup. BLECH!!
The only words you said that I understood were "His", "Phone" and "Ya'll". The other 2 paragraphs worth was about as intelligible as a drunken Teletubby barkin' come on's at a Hooter's waitress.

bass? huh? nope, that wasn't me It's just the caffeine thing I have trouble with. Coffee and tea do it to me, but not chocolate or soda pop... weirdness. (and yeah, after I literally fainted after shovelling the walk a few winters ago, I had to go through 48 hours witha heart monitor on etc and loads of other fun things).
