From our local paper:
'Mr S was jailed for 3 years and 8 months after admitting attempted armed robbery of a bookmakers'store. He tried to commit the hold-up with a tissue glued to his face as a disguise and more tissue jammed in his mouth to disguise his voice. When staff were unable to understand him,he removed this and staff recognized him as a regular by his strong Scottish accent. He fled empty-handed when the tissue on his face fell off,but left behind his demand note on the counter-this was written on the back of a letter from the bookmakers barring him from that shop and had his full name and address on'.
