Not that kind of pitch - I meant the kind from aviation. There are 3 axes of rotation: roll (rotate around a line that runs from front to back), pitch (rotate around a line that runs from side to side), and yaw (rotate around a line that runs from top to bottom).

You can probably imagine what happens when someone does a rapid 90 degree rotation around the pitch axis.

The problem is that as pubs are getting more profit from food, over the years they'd rather have more people in and eating their 'Piles O' Crispy-Fried Crap' than drinking - thus people are now used to pubs being "Family Friendly".
