The other night, visited the local southern style chicken store. After ordering through their app and collecting my meal, I settle down well away from anyone else to enjoy my meal in piece when in comes the local bin scab. He doesn't order anything, but from what I gather goes around trying to collect any cans/bottles that haven't made their way to the recycling bins (before going through the local bins looking for said cans/bottles). This involves bothering customers (like me), asking if they're finished with their empty cans/bottles.
This one caught me off guard (because I normally expect the bin scabs in the CBD and not in the suburbs) - I actually nodded to the scab indicating mine wasn't empty (normally I won't even give them that courtesy), before I bring my can a little closer to protect it from local bin scabs.
Seriously, people, if you're going to scab through bins for empties, don't try and scab them from people who are actually using them.
