My mom works for a Self Storage
SC:
MOM: my mom
This last Saturday
Phone rings
mom: Says the script.
sc: Starts yelling at her for charging his CC.
mom: Mentions that she will credit him back, but it will be there by Tuesday.
sc: I JUST SPOKE TO MY LAWYER AND HE SAYS YOU HAVE TO WRITE ME A CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT.
mom: The only way we can do it, is to credit it back to the account, and that they cannot write checks.
SC: WELL, YOU WILL MAKE SURE MY MONEY IS BACK IN MY ACCOUNT TODAY
mom: I will not do that. Like I said, you will be credited back the amount, and it will be in by Tuesday.
SC: Hangs up the phone
Fast forward to today
Phone rings
Mom: Says the script
SC: WHERE IS MY MONEY, I TOLD YOU TO HAVE MY MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT BY LAST SATURDAY.
Mom: It was credited back on Saturday, It does take more then 10 seconds to be back into the account.
SC: WELL YOU ARE GOING TO WRITE ME A CHECK.
Mom; Told you already, cannot do that. The accountant is not here
SC: WELL YOU WILL GIVE ME CASH THEN.
Mom: Already gave you the credit, you will not get cash or check
SC: WELL I WILL TAKE YOU TO THE BETTER BUSINESS
Mom: Why, we done want you wanted, you got the amount back. You will just have to wait for another day.
SC: I KNOW THE OWNER AND YOU WILL BE FIRED
Mom: What is his name then?
SC: WELL, I WAS GOING TO GO BACK THERE, BUT NOT AFTER ALL THIS
Mom: We don't want your business, if you are going to act like this
SC: Starts to say something
Mom: Hangs up the phone.
I witnessed the whole thing. And Yeah I heard him through the phone.
Hell it was a Human error. When he moved out, he did fill out a "Moving Out" sheet. It was an accident that he was still left on the auto-pay. If I was in my moms place, I would have gotten an attitude with him, right back.
Yes, I am proud of my mom on how she handled that.
