  • Consider it a compliment.

A little while ago I was picking up some milk at the 7-11 up the street, and I noticed a new sign by the register.

It said something along the lines of "We card for tobacco under 30, if you are over 30 and we card you, consider it a compliment."

    Made me LOL.

    ME LOVES IT!

If that doesn't work, there's always the infamous "No bitching!" sign that my dad bought from his buddy's bar when it closed down and the guy auctioned his stuff off in 1992. Back in the day when signs like that were allowed and actually advocated.

I like getting carded. It's almost a thing of pride for me, to whip that ID out and present it to the asker.

I don't get carded anymore. It hurts my pride.

Yeah, I haven't gotten carded in a while...

I'm 32 but my roommate told me tonight that her friend thought I was in my mid-twenties and was shocked when she told her my real age. Apparently she was afraid I'd be insulted.

Join the club. I haven't been carded in ages, either. :sigh:

I am only 24 and have never been carded, So sad. I do not drink that much but when I go out I also have my license ready and I am never asked. Personally, I would be thrilled if I was carded. Love the sign though

In a way, it's odd that I don't get carded more.

Depending on what I'm wearing and how tired I am, I can look as young as 19.

Mad pain wishes, though, to the people who guess that I'm in my 30s.
