Grocery store quickie

Saw (and heard) a mom in the store today. She had her (maybe 8yo??) kid pushing a (smaller) cart, repeatedly snapping at said kid to hurry and keep up with her with the half-full cart of stuff; Mom was carrying nothing that I noticed. The kid was maybe a half-head taller than the cart's handle, and clearly could barely deal with the damn thing, as she had her arms wrapped around said handle and was doing her best. Poor kid
