  • Crime spree!

    From our local paper...
'A phantom fruit-flinger has struck again, claiming two more victims. The incident was the latest of a string of attacks which have injured seven people-a young couple have told police they were the eighth and ninth casualties of the splatter spree. The woman who was pushing a buggy was struck like most of the other victims by a tomato. Her husband was hit by a grape and one victim was hit in the face with a section of apple'

            "What about a pointed stick?"
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers
