Here's suckiness: not giving a crap that there's a lost and found for a reason

Found a purse in a cart one day while rounding them up in the parking lot to bring back into the store. Gave it to the Service Desk so they could try to look up the person in the phone book to let them know we had it.

Found an atm card in an atm machine at the mall. Gave that to the security office. One thing I would have done different thinking back was call the customer service number on the back, so they could call the card holder and tell them where to find it.
