I had to have a sleep lab done last night (and found out I have sleep apnea, boo). In the morning after all was said and done they left me to shower and get changed out of my PJs and said to just open the door when I was done so they could lead me back outside.
Once I was done I opened the door and sat down on the edge of the bed to wait and could hear the techs talking. It seems a man (Not sure if it had just happened or was in the recent past) had come in, had a sleep lab done, been woken up in the morning and then had claimed that he was tired and requested they let him sleep there until noon. Obviously they told him that was not possible and that it was time for him to leave. At this point he apparently got belligerent and insisted that he had paid for this room and, by gosh, he was going to use it! The tech listening to the story scoffed at that and muttered that he had paid for a lab, that they weren't a hotel. Apparently when he was again refused he broke a clipboard, threw his remote across the room and then tried to upend the cabinet housing the TV. In the end security had to be called to escort him out.
Is it sad that, after seeing all the stories on here, this really didn't surprise me any? Yeesh.
