  • So you think you are a big shot huh?

    I was just in my local pizzeria and saw this incident happen. (small note, this pizzeria is always busy on a Friday night) The owner is a great guy who actually works there and takes pride in his business.

    This guy who thinks he is a bigger deal in this small town than he is; came in and was very upset his food wasn't ready. Our pizza was just coming out of the oven.

    BSW = Big Shot Wannabe
    PG=Pizza guy

    BSW *YELLING* "My order should be ready, that pizza there (pointing to mine) NEEDS to be given to me."

    PG "No sir yours is going in the oven now, it will be a couple minutes."

    BSW "You better give me that pizza I know the owner of this place"

    PG "No sir, I actually don't know you. Now you can sit and wait."

    BSW *did have the nerve to look embarrassed*

    Now THAT is what I call a slice of justice!

    Now, I think the Pizza Guy's response to the Big-Shot's demand was just right. (I wish we had a smiley with a little fore-finger and thumb in the cheek to signify "Scrumptious").

    If you have time to think about it the blow-hards aren't all that hard to take down in a reasonable way. The problem is that the blow-hards hit us when we don't have the time to think reasonably. Kudos to the Pizza-Guy who did.

      Crono: sounds like the machine update became a clusterf*ck..
      pedersen: No. A clusterf*ck involves at least one pleasurable thing (the orgasm at the end).

          That looks more like "luser" I think LibraryLady meant more along the lines of what Shirley Temple used to do
