Wal-Mart suck (I can't say I'm surprised really)

They send you a new one, but when you get it, you find out they don't MAKE the 100GB hard drive anymore, and you're sitting there staring at a shiny new 200GB Hard Drive!

I suspect if that had been the situation, it wouldn't have been a problem. The difference is, Walmart still stocks the item in question. This particular one happened to be out of stock this particular day, but they still "make" it.

As I understood the story, anyway...

So yeah, if that were the situation, that should be how Walmart reacts too, but that's kind of a different issue. Try getting them to send you a 200gb drive in replacement when they're still making the 100gb.
