Generally when someone says "oooooh big spender" when you're buying a small item, they're normally doing the "Hey! I sound like I'm joking, but I'm really being a passive aggressive asshat!"

The only person who says things like that is the guy at the hobby shop...and I know he's just messing with me. He knows that I've been coming in for years, and if he pisses me off, he'll no longer be able to unload those 20-year-old-plus Japanese car kits He doesn't say that often, usually I get the "you're not buying any kits today?" My answer in that case...is that I have too many to work on now

For the record, that hello kitty tin got a squeal of delight from my daughter on Christmas morning and double bonus because the candies inside were sour apple, her favorite.
