I used to work at a Lexus dealership. There was a Dodge dealer down the street as well. One of the Dodge Service Techs was test-driving an Intrepid (after servici9ng it) down the big road that all the dealerships were on, and he was sitting at the light right at the entrance to our lot and the car burst into flames.
He was still in it, it was still running, so he pulled it into our lot. (!!!!)
Our GM goes running out there to make sure the guy can get out of the car, and the lot guys go running out there with handfuls of keys to move the brand new cars that were on that part of the lot.
I called 911, and then the Dodge dealership. I thought it was only fair to tell them that they were going to have a very unhappy customer on their hands once they tell the person that their car has offed itself in the Lexus parking lot.
Then the hoses in the engine start popping and spewing fluid everywhere. Then the tires explode. The car is completely engulfed in flames, and the fire dept shows up.
Nobody was hurt, thankfully.... but that was one f'ed up day.
