    It's making you uncomfortable, it's getting well into harassment territory. Figure out something reasonably polite but firm that you think you can say comfortably.

    Mine might be something like: "Sir, there is plenty of room on this bus. If you prefer this seat, then by all means stay here. I will move." And then I move some distance away. (On an empty bus, at least.)

    Or maybe "Surprising as it might seem, I'm not actually interested in talking today."
