No, this isn't dirty (sorry), but disappointing all the same.
So the weather was lovely today, and since both my CW Jen and I had the day off we decided to go hiking in the state park nearest our school. We were out there for hours, walking around the reservoir and just enjoying the day. It was nice to get out and enjoy nature.
We're heading back to the car at the end of the day and as we're crossing the aquaduct we're nearly crashed into by a rather well-dressed valley girl with her nose in her phone, texting away. She was obviously so engrossed in the text novel she was writing that she couldn't be bothered to see where she was going.
Jen was disgusted, and remarked that what's the point of enjoying nature if you can't even be bothered to look up from a 2 inch screen to see it? I couldn't help but agree with her.
