Cripes, you just can't win. Either you need help and nobody's there, or you just need some time to browse, and you can't escape.
As for your specific problem, RK, consider a pair of dark-ish sunglasses and headphones. You don't even need to have any music, you just need to look like you do. Then you can ignore them to your heart's content, and they have an excuse to ignore you right back.
