Iradney, I'm pretty sure they aren't sold here, either. At least, not any more.

I just want to know a standard size and be anle to go somewhere, find some that are actually pretty and just get them.
Annnnnnd you've just stumbled on to the problem with the womens' fashion industry. There is no standard sizing. Not in any part of it from shoes on up.

The variation is just insane. The only way to get clothes that fit *you* properly is to have them made or make them yourself. I've got a BS in Fashion Merch and we spent a couple of semesters making 1/2 size and full size patterns. It's not really not that hard, especially if you're draping (loved that).

I've actually thought of trying to make my own bras. I just haven't taken the time to figure it all out. I may just have to step up and do that at some point in time since I hate shopping for them.

Oh and PLEASE don't get me started on shoes.

Be prepared for a lot of pieces. I forget how many are in your standard bra.

And shoes? Try wearing a size 9 (and having a narrow foot) while being only 5'4". I've had people tell me I can't possibly wear that size shoe, I'm too small. Honestly, I'd look funny with a size 6 foot.

I've looked at the patterns for bras. There's not all that many of them. It's mostly finding the time to do it.

I wear a womens 10 or 11 EEE width shoe. I can't find them anywhere.

There's a shoe school here where I live that I want to go to so bad. They lodge their students at the hotel where I work and they make the neatest things. Hand shoe making from start to finish in a week long intensive course. I want to so so so bad. I've even been thinking about asking them what kind of a discount they would give hotel employees since we cut them such a deal on the rooms for their classes.

One of my aunts did that. She would find bra that fit, then take it apart to make a pattern so she could make her own.

That's actually not a bad idea. Now I just have to find one that fits.

There used to be a brand that Kmart of all places sold. It was I think by Jacilyn Smith. The bra had interlaced cording between the cups at the front. Those were the best bras that I ever wore. Since the girls sit a bit apart, It's hard to find anything that fits there too. I wish I could find some of these again.

Try this place. They have shoes up to 9E!

I'm really tired of non-measurement-based sizing. But even bras, which are supposed to be sized by measurements, don't all match up with what they say on the labels.

But I have my size memorized, so my lucky rocket ship underpants buying is a piece of cake.
                    You crack me up sometimes.

I was having an absolutely horrendous day, and that made me laugh right out loud.

                    Too funny.
