I know plenty of those from the years I lived in Florida. They're one reason I'll never move back there.

Like, Wow! That's quite a story. So, let me get this straight. A knife fight occurs int he parking lot, the manager is out there arguing, and everyone in the restaurant comes out to get a ringside view of this? They really need to fire the lot of those people. It was more important to gather at this instead of serving customers. Not good service at all.

As a side note, I've also complained to places where I received rotten service, like at K-Mart when I had this rude, Spanish clerk talking down to me when I went to get a refund on my purchase. When I contradicted something she had said, she yelled over at her co-worker and said, "Now, did you hear me say that?" And when her friend said "No", it was, "See? You have no proof that's what I said." When I reported this, no apology and no acknowledgement of the complaint. In fact, they told me not to bother following up because I would not be informed of the outcome.

The 21st century lets things like this prevail.
