Heh. "Unattended children will be fed to the escalator." I think that would make a great sign in any store. The *kids* wouldn't leave mom or dad's side.

I ruined a dress on an escalator once. The skirt wasn't particularly loose, but apparently loose enough that even though I was well 'inside the yellow lines', the skirt caught on a step anyway.(

Regrets on the dress, but dibs on the concept:
"Unescorted females will have clothing automatically removed by the escalator."

A+++++, would shop there again.
