So last night I was on the way to a friend's and waiting for the bus when an old man comes up, touches me, and starts talking to me. In my bad ear. Not only does he have a thick accent, he's not talking loud enough for me to know wtf he's saying.
Then he comes on my other side, starts saying something about a fare and "Give me a dollar" escapes his mouth.
Oh no you did not just demand my money!
"I don't carry cash, and even if I did I wouldn't give any to you."
He was shocked. The teens at the bus stop started cracking up. The bus comes and look he gets on with a bus pass, he didn't need fare after all.
Give me a dollar my ass!
