Can I get my iced latte now please?!

I went by DD and I ordered my usual iced latte (the one by my college) and after the worker made it for me, it was behind the counter and no one was charging me or giving it to me. Instead, they were helping the other customers while I'm standing there and I tell them I haven't paid for my latte yet and they just charge me and hand me the latte. I know that they are busy, but I'm sure it would've been easier to give me the latte and charge me instead of having me wait for it. Even if it was by the counter, I could've just walked with it without paying. They probably wouldn't have noticed, but I'm not that type of person.

I'm assuming this was DD and not green-apron land. Yes, I have noticed that there's often a lack of organization and some aggressive apathy with DD workers. I hear that managers get paid little more than cashiers, so there's not much incentive for organization and efficiency.
