Okay, the connection center at UVU is really pissing me off.
Three weeks ago I went in to buy my books and purchase my bus pass.
I paid the $20 to have it activated, they told me it would take up to 48 hours and gave me a temporary proof of payment to show that it was activated.
And it never read properly...
Still never read properly...
Yet still doesn't read properly...
Finally after two weeks my temporary pass has faded beyond recognition and I have to go in anyway to pick up another book for a class I was able to get into at the last minute.
The guy at the connection center enters my ID number in the computer, said "oh, says here everything is working fine, but I'll resync the card just to make sure and give you another temporary proof of payment in the meantime."
This was on Monday (so, 48 hours ago), I go to class today, and shock of shocks, the card won't read on either the TRAX platform or the onboard reader on the bus (good thing that I got the proof of payment).
I'll give it until next Monday and God help the person who tries to tell me that there is nothing wrong, I will video the card not working with my phone if needed to show them that I'm not crazy, the card they gave me is a fucking dud.
