On Thursday, I decided to take DD to McDonald's playplace for a bit, since we were out in the car all day and she needed some fun time. I let her play for a couple of hours to blow off some steam - it's gotta be tough to want to play all the time and be cooped up in the car or with Mommy who needs to pack.
While we were there, this mom came in with her two little boys - I'm going to estimate they were maybe 3 and 6. They took off their shoes and started climbing the play place. I was giving DD a drink of water when I heard the sound of water dripping - like a faucet turned on. So I look up and there, coming from the top of the play place where there is a round ball thing that the kids climb in and out of because there is a steering wheel inside of it -- the water is flowing out of the bottom of it and splashing onto the bottom part of the playplace.
You know what the "water" was, right? Yup, one of the charming kids pulled down his pants and took a leak in the playplace.
I grabbed DD's socks and shoes, and said "OK we're outta here".... the kid's mom was so embarrassed but the worst part? The mom came back to clean it up with napkins. And nobody came in to clean the playplace either. And they didn't close it after they were told about the pee.
Did I mention McDonald's play places are off limits now? Yup. They sure are.
