This happened yesterday. I got told about it when I came into work today.
SC checks into a room and pays with cash but leaves a CC on file. Later on in the evening, SC orders a movie. Usually when someone orders a movie we auth the CC for more funds, and if they can't get any more funds, shut off the movies. Well one of my CW's did neither. So it was up to a shift after to do all that.
CC declines. CW2 shuts off movies and then calls the room.
SC: What? (Yes, that's how he answered his phone)
CW2: This is the front desk. I see you ordered a movie. Since your CC did not have enough to pay for it, you're going to need to come down and pay cash.

Yep, the SC just flat out hung up on CW2.
