I work in a very wealthy neighborhood, and there are always charity people out. Some days I don't even want to go outside because I'm sick of having to say, "No, not today," over and over again.

I remember back in the eighties when the companies would push United Way goals all the time. That really sucked hard.

My company still pushes United Way hard every fall.

I used to donate to them, but only one dollar, one time. Then I got smrt.

We'll be dealing with United Way as long as we have this one higher up lady on the roster. I don't know who she knows or is related to in regards to the United Way, but she's overstepped her boundaries with us before with the guilting. Once was at an employee meeting, to tsk tsk us for not donating as much. PFFT, you think we're going to donate what little we make to the United Way? Are you kidding?
