I get the feeling that the TC used "Sexist" as a street name instead of the actual one.

If it is the real name, it would be fun when your GPS told you to go down on Sexist.

        Porn?

Seriously, they were probably selling only mens' clothing. Don't waste your time looking for women's or children's clothes there.
Women can do anything men can.
But we don't because lots of it's disgusting.

If the address really was on "Sexist Ln" then it may have been a joke - "I'm not sexist, but my street is!"
I really don't remember the street name It wasn't Sexism Lane though. I did, however, see a street called Seaman Lane XD Say it out loud if you don't get it

I'm not sure I believe there would be a street by this name. I don't think I can swallow this tale.

Hey, this is totally nuts to me.

We live in a neighborhood that has a very vibrant LGBT community. It's also a neighborhood with many children. Often the groups overlap.

A few weeks ago we had a stoop sale. Most stoop sales around here are heavy on clothes and toys for young children. Hubby decided to put out things that men might want.

He put out camera bags, tripods and several pair of binoculars. I put out my usual array of dresses, costume jewelery and books.

                    Guess what?

Almost all the 'guy stuff' was bought by women. The dresses and costume jewelery were bought by men.

                    Go figure.

I bet the ones who had the yard sale had a he-man-women haters club when they were younger.

I'd be the one looking at the camera gear and binoculars for sure!

I was thinking male adult toys. A lot of garage sales around here are people selling new items from their home business, and I've heard of women holding adult toy parties (like a tupperware party except..you get the point).

Though I suspect it was just a marketing ploy to grab peoples attention.

Funny you mention that. Once, a customer gave me and my coworker 2 invites for a sex toy party saying it's fun for "young women who wanna have fun by themselves *winkwink*" O.o

Meh, I thought about having a yard sale at my parents' place of all my clothes that I'm now too fat to fit in, and I wanted to make a sign that said "Young Lady's clothing yard sale", because I know most people around here consider garage saling a professional sport, and they'll go to any yard sale for any reason, and I didn't want anyone to kick and scream that I didn't have toys or baby clothes or yard stuff to sell. Just wanted it to be to the point that it was clothes for young ladies.

I ended up giving all those clothes away to a coworker anyway. And she didn't fit into a bit of it, so she gave those away. And so on. And so on.
