I was looking for a sportcoat at a clothing outlet, admiring a possible purchase in the mirror (anything that can make me look good is a find!). Suddenly I hear "FUCK YOU!!!" and hear a strange soft yet aggressive sound. I look up and see nothing but bewildered customers. After the shock wears off, the story comes together from several observers who have witnessed the event:
A man has gone careening through the store, apprently yelling "Get the fuck out of my way!" to nearly everyone he encounters, then makes the above-quoted statement and FLINGS AN ENTIRE SHELF FULL OF DRESS SHIRTS ON THE FLOOR. He disappears. No one knew what was going on, why he was angry, or where he went.
Good thing he didn't have a gun.

The only time I encountered something like that it ended very badly.

I was working a C-store in the chain I worked for at the time, not my home store. This dude comes in, he's literally foaming at the mouth. He start flailing his arms and knocking stuff off the shelves while shouting about aliens or something. (It was hard to make out)

I escort him out and he passes out outside the doors. I took his pulse, it wasn't there and he wasn't breathing. So I did CPR while my partner inside called 911.

The guy ended up dying of a heart attack. It was one of the most insane things I've seen; and one of the saddest. And I've been in customer service/retail since 1994.
