there used to be a radio station in my area that mingled Xmas songs into their adult comtemporary mix starting on Nov 1 (increasing the number as the month went on) and Xmas songs only 24/7 on Black Friday through Dec 31st.
fortuneately they have gone bye byeI'm lost without a paddle and headed up SH*T creek.

I'm actively denying the existance of Christmas songs and displays till the day after Thanksgiving.
I love me some christmas songs (Except when its the same version, over and over.) and decorations and egg nog and such, but only for about a month, and I'd like to burn out on it AFTER Christmas is over, thank you.

Ugh. The only Christmas I want around me right now is gift-planning, and that only because I like to get it done early (I really like getting gifts for people; it's fun!), and because about half of my planned gifts are going to be homemade so I'm going to need extra time to actually make them. Especially since this next month is going to be spent packing as well in preparation for a mid-December move."Enough expository banter. It's time we fight like men. And ladies. And ladies who dress like men. For Gilgamesh...IT'S MORPHING TIME!"

A few of the stores I visit near me have had Christmas stuff up for weeks already. Three weeks ago Target had a back wall of Christmas stuff over near their Halloween stuff. Not sure about Walmart. And Home Depot has had Christmas stuff out for a couple of weeks. Last week the Target had half of the Halloween aisles stripped and Christmas stuff was starting to be moved into it's place.
Although, there is a lot of "Christmas" decoration that has nothing to do with Christmas and is more fall/winter decoration.
