    There was a big deal about a local BoA branch that refused to properly close a woman's account after the customer's identity had been stolen. She kept getting hit with hundreds of dollars of returned checks charges and BoA kept putting her off.

    She finally had to go to the newspaper and after the story was written all kinds of information came out about the crook, who was known by the police, but the cops had made no real efforts to stop her, and the banks just didn't care.

    So, get another bank or another branch. Sometimes the branch can make a huge difference.
