Well, I was minding my own business at work (this is a SC work related but it didn't happen to me, I merely got to watch)
CO=the poor newbie coworker who has to see how crazy people really are
UL:Unsuspecting lady who got yelled at by some nut
SC: THis lady in pink who did all the yelling (the nut)
The UL comes to my CO's window and puts down two red chips and three green ones. As she is about to get her money this crazy lady in pink runs up next to her and starts screaming:
SC: We all saw you steal those chips!
My coworker and I:
I was RIGHT next to her. So, I got to watch and be glad it wasn't in my window.
The UL was like: huh? What are you talking about?
SC: you stole those chips from Eric! We all saw you do it.
By this time CO put the money back into the drawer and was frantically waving down security.
I didn't know if she did take it or not (at the time) and I was wondering how could it be possible with the dealer there and all the cameras.
Security came over and treated UL like a criminal. The security officer (SO) asked for her ID and stuff. She handed it over--overwhelmed by the accusations.
It took a good fifteen mins. for them to review the tapes.
SC had made it all up and UL was really upset for the fact that it was her money and some stranger tried to pull a crazy on her. UL got to leave with her eighty-five bucks while SC kept bitching. I was waiting for a fight to break out but UL was really calm about it and didn't take any kind of action towards the SC.
My CO said she would have at least told her off. I would've been really mad too. Getting accused of cashing out your own money! Some people...
Later I found out that SC was just some random chick who wasn't even at the table! What a lunatic!
