    I do not work in the service industry, I am writing this as a consumer defending a food server.

    I was out to eat the other night when this douche bag comes into the restaurant and starts being demanding to the server. He was rude, arrogant, and in my opinion, a first class moron.

    As I was getting ready to leave, I walked over to him and said: "Sir, It would behoove you to learn the word 'please' and the phrase 'thank you'."

    He just looked at me like I had lost my mind.

    My mother would hit me with my own canes (I use two canes to walk) if I ever talked to anyone the way that "gentleman" did.

    I over tipped as I was concerned he wouldn't leave a tip at all.

    Keep up the good work Maria! You are a great server!
