This topic title almost made me rage. Then I saw it said "Stupid Tenants" and not "Stupid Tennants" I'd have had to bust some skulls if I saw anyone bad-mouthing Tennant.
I'm so glad I wasn't the only person who thought that!
"Bring me knitting!" (The Doctor - not the one you were expecting)
Mine too, and its some random combo of letters and numbers and other gibberish. Thank god once I enter it on my laptop, kindle etc. its there until i take it away. NO way i could ever remember it!
Only if you can get your paws on my iPhone . . . I use my Notes app quite a bit and typed the info in there and saved it just in case I needed it.
And the only way you'll get my phone is if you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

Jackass stopped playing Dr Who .....
EVE Online: 99% of the time you sit around waiting for something to happen, but that 1% of action is what hooks people like crack, you don't get interviewed by the BBC for a WoW raid.
WEP and WPA are for wusses. If you REALLY want to keep your home network secure, you need UTP.
I could really confuse people and crank up the amiga and the 28K modem on dialup ...
Is there actually any virus that hits the amiga? I think I could configure mine to pop my email if I try .... I just use it to occasionally play ancient games now.

Random phrase followed by a date no one would know(such as the date my cats are due for rabies vaccine) in yy/mm/dd format.
*this is not a real password
Some time ago I was told the best passwords are made-up words ... not another language (not even Klingon, LOL) just a scramble that you made up. One of my passwords is a splice of misspelled English and German words.
Also, some older equipment (Nintendo DS lite, for instance) doesn't know about WPA networks at all, so if you want to use it's network features, you need to keep WEP turned on.
That's the only reason I still have WEP; although I don't have my DS Lite anymore and the 3DS is supposed to be able to support WPA2 (I'm not sure whether my Wii will) so I might change the router settings and see if it still works.
Funny story: I used to run Wireshark on my own connection every so often so I could see if there was any strange traffic (this was before we got a router with MAC filtering that lets me see new devices before letting them actually connect). I noticed that my connection was dropping every so often so decided to fire up Wireshark and lo and behold, I found a bunch of reset packets coming to my modem from an $ISP office that isn't even in our area. When I called support about why my connection was dropping, I was told "it's illegal to use packet sniffers, how do you know it's not your computer?"...it's not illegal if I'm only viewing my own traffic. The resets stopped completely the next day.

"Excuse me, I'm making perfect sense. You're just not keeping up." The Doctor

It does. I have a 3DS XL and it connects to my network no problems at all.
My Writing Blog -Updated 05/06/2013
It's so I can get ideas out of my head, I decided to put it in a blog in case people are bored or are curious as to the (many) things in progress.
My old modem could NOT be locked down. Tried everything and got a professional friend to try and it still wouldn't lock. I was on 1gig a month and because of smartphones leeching of my network it would be gone in 2 days and then down to dial up speed for the rest of the month. Noone has ever figured out why it wouldn't lock so I've kept it around in the cupboard for future curiosity when I know more. Dad uses radio for his, I have no idea what he's talking about but apparently it's good.
I need to show this thread to the isp that has it's offices next door to me. The first time we got a wireless router their entire network showed up on ours
We locked the router down real quick because they were sucking up our bandwidth
To be fair, it's not really stealing if they ask permission; then, it's just begging. Doesn't make it any less pathetic, of course.
You gotta polish a memory like a stone. Chip off the parts that remind you it was just a game. Work it until it's indistinguishable from any other memory.
it scares me having other ppl use mine...dont know WHAT they're looking at online! harrassing people, gross illegal stuff, illegal downloads etc that i dont want the rap for!
