    I'm with those who say contact a manager. If it really is a place you've been in the past and liked, then they were doing something right. And without customer complaints, they've no way of knowing things are wrong, until business goes down, and they still don't know why, so can't correct it.
    With any luck, manager will give the waitress a heavy duty "straighten up or get out" speech, and stick to it. And perhaps give you a card for a free meal so you can come back and see that things are better (one way or the other).

    Madness takes it's toll....
    Please have exact change ready.

      Ignored all day, then really cold food. Then they're mad about the poor tip? Yeah, that's not a place I'd want to go back to, either.
      Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.
