Living near a military post, I found the officers in the small outskirts town to be clever. They would hide in this little privately owned lot where the guy was a mechanic / car salesman. He had at any given time 10-15 cars for sale and there our local cops would hide. Mixed in with the cars. They would either get the stupid leaving post in a hurry or those late for work in the early morning hours.
