Look before you step out in traffic!

I have the opposite problem. Because of the directions I have to go and the way the buses stop, I'm always on the left hand side of a major intersection, at the mercy of whatever asshole is turning right, while I'm trying to cross the street on MY walk signal. I've almost been hit several times by jerks not looking at the crosswalk right in front of their damn faces. They're too busy looking at their left to see if traffic will slow down enough for them to make a break for it, and screw the people who are walking, they don't need to be worried about.

Yeah I'm a little bitter about it, it happens all the time, and I've even missed a signal cycle because of it, I'm just tired of these entitled jerks thinking they own the road.
