Suicidal Self-Resurrecting Burning Bird Cityhas at least 3 streets named Greenway, plus at least one in another local city, and at least 2 Palo Verdes.
Personally, I'm a bit annoyed at the streets named "W Whatever Ave N", because dispatch always enters them as "N Whatever Ave". It doesn't work that way, guys!Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, you speak with the Fraud department. -- CrazedClerkthe2nd

I help my bro with his business social media page and website (he's a Realtor) -- It annoys me to no end that the majority of the listings he gets in do NOT contain "North" or "South" on them, in a smallish town where well over half of all listings contain that vital bit of info (the town is bisected by Main Street, and has many, many X Streets which are crossed by Y Avenues). Pain in the ass to find the things on map sites, which is an important part of posting the public listings x.x When in doubt, I've had to hit GoogleMaps before and go into Street View to compare that to the actual photos to make sure."For a musician, the SNES sound engine is like using Crayola Crayons. Quoth dawnfire View PostIn my town the center of town has a decidedly botanical theme with laurel st, lime st and walnut st...“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers

The Washington Post did an article about common street names last year. They were going by state, not by city, but still. Kinda bugs me that they included numbered streets in the list, but whatever.
The US Census released a report (PDF) back in 1993, but that is nation-wide.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, you speak with the Fraud department. -- CrazedClerkthe2nd

In Kitchener-Waterloo, King Street goes through both cities (same street). It is alternatively, King Street North, King Street South, King Street West and King Street East depending on where you are.
It is also parallel to Weber street, and crosses Weber two or three times as it goes around.
(The later is blamed by Mathies at UWaterloo on the Singularity in the MC building that also turns the 6th floor of that building into a maze of corridors, all looking the same.)

The only things worse are:
1) Not using qualifiers. I live on X Street SW while X Street SE is a bank. More than half their mail either doesn't have SE or SW on it (meaning I get it) or SW even though bank is SE (again, meaning I get it). I don't even want to guess how much of my mail goes there - my air filters did last year...
2) Terrible names. Did you know Fairfax County has a street named Jewelweed and another named Peeptoad? That's pretty sad...
