Some explanation/background.
I live in an area where our road is off of the main two lane road, lots of traffic during peak times and no stop light so sometimes the wait can be 1o minutes or more just to get out into the main road.
On the map, the x in the block is our house, the red block is the bar. and jimbos is the gas station. Not shown is the second bar next to the first but they are often slow with business. And yes, the "Street" is the main street, this pic has been edited from a different map.
Living within walking distance to two bars well...draw your own conclusion. The bars were built after the houses were so meh. We get the occasional rude person blaring their bass coming around the bend or people trying to be smart asses and thinking they can take that corner bend at normal speed...riiiight. All this at night too.
Now our town just had a major drug bust so the police are still out in force.
Last night someone thought it would be ok to speed across the parking lot of the bar cut through traffic on the main street - which amazingly no wrecks occured - and speed down our road. Yeah no, police were RIGHT THERE waiting for him. I got to enjoy the blue light show as he was read his rights and taken away. Wish I'd gotten pictures as everyone on that little street heard him throwing a fit.
