She went to court and angry mom was there making all her threats, etc. Unfortunately, it seems like the case can't go forward yet because angry mom applied for ARD ('Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition' for non-violent crimes) got denied, and is appealing. So that has to go through the process again before Abby's case can be dealt with.

Oh, and angry mom still has her kids.

I think the whole situation is crap.

My thoughts exactly. Actually, it could be seen as attempted murder since she was deliberitly (sp?) trying to push her into traffic, or at least assault with a deadly weapon (yes, cars can be seen as a deadly weapon if used for the specific purpose of harming someone, like in this case) . And yeah, when it comes to insurance companies, they will try their hardest NOT to pay for something, I know, my mom sells that stuff. She hates it too since things like this have happened and she can't help the victims.

AWHAAA? She stills has her kids?! WTF? Social services should have taken them away immediately after this happened! How.....I....wha?! Brain hurts now.

I think Abby (weird saying that since that's my name too lol) should sue her for damages done to her car, along with physical and emotional damage done to her. I don't know how your state's justice system works, but I know around here, she would win for sure! Also, she can file another report on her for harassment, regarding the countless threats she's made. I feel bad for her since the witnesses don't want to testify because of said threats made, but I've noticed that if someone threatens you like that, they're scared because they know they're screwed and they'll do anything to keep that stuff from happening. 9 times out of 10, the threats are never followed through with.

Gah, I hope that bitch goes to jail for a LONG time and her kids find a more loving home. Hope Abby feels much better and tell her not to give up. We have a justice system for a reason, to help people like Abby who have been wronged. At least, we're supposed to.
