This happened yesterday morning on my morning commute home on the freeway. My mom was right in front of me, as she was going to work and her work is nearby where I live.
There was a semi with a "Wide Load" sign, hauling what looked like a large chunk of a bridge or some big slab of concrete.
There was an SUV type thing that was following it with flashing lights on the roof of the vehicle.
The problem was that everyone wanted to pass the semi, because it couldn't come even close to the 65 mph speed limit, and for some reason, every so often (and eventually, after one exit, the rest of our ride), the SUV would get into the left lane and go the exact same speed as the semi, therefore blocking anyone from getting past.
This happened at every single exit/entrance, and it made for a huge mess. I was honestly almost to the point of pulling my hair out, and my mom missed her exit because she was still in the left lane and couldn't get over because of the SUV, and came very close to where the freeway ends and becomes the way to either the boonies or Madison
This was morning rush hour, and no one was able to merge the way traffic should merge and flow because of not only the semi going hardly over 50 mph, but the SUV blocking anyone from getting around.
What gives here?
