  • Just go through the store...

A Construction Supervisor at my Mall today told me this; it happened to him on another job when a tractor-truck driver called asking for directions to the construction site; he was about 3-hours away. The supervisor gave him directions to the property and told him that when he turned-onto the property he would see an 'All Fart.' He would then have to drive around to the other side of the building to the 'Bowls' they were building.

The driver called back. He was at the Mall, in front of the All Fart, but couldn't find the supervisor. The supervisor told him, go around the building to the other side to the store that said Bowls. The driver called back again and said that he was now in-front of 'Tracy's (which was on the opposite side from Bowls) and NOW how did he get to Bowls. The supervisor finally said "Just drive through Tracy's and you'll be here." The driver asked completely seriously:

    "Thar's a road that goes through Tracy's!?"

The supervisor replied "No, but there will be if you actually take me seriously dumba**!"

The driver eventually figured-out how to drive around the building.

If it's like most malls or shopping plazas i've seen, the building is in the middle of the lot to some extent. If it s a mall, most likely the middle, a strip mall mostly towards the back with a small service area behind.

I once couldn't figure out which way was "around"...then again I was standing still and about to faint...(next thing I knew I was on the floor and my dad was kneeling next to me, and half the people that were surrounding me had left the room). My dad had been standing behind me and I tried to tell him I needed help, but I couldn't figure out which way to turn.... Hopefully that was not this guy's problem...
