What is it with people in multi-turn lanes who think they can just start going into your lane when the turn isn't even completed?

What is it with people not even looking before drifting into another lane?

Yesterday and today, both times at multiple left turn lanes, idiots wanted to get into my lane, but without looking or before we were both done turning. Or, we were moving along after the turn, and I saw their vehicle getting closer and closer to mine....so I have to ram the gas, take a chance and speed the hell up, and sure enough, as soon as I'm out of the way, they change lanes.

Wait a bloody minute and look, idiots.

In my more smartass younger days, I'd tell her "Actually, you only pushed until my head came out, then a doctor pulled me the rest of the way out."

Now I just say "Ok Ma" and leave it at that. Always fear a tempermental natural redhead. Always.

I hate that. On the way back from VA I had not one but two semi's do that, and one beeped at me when I didn't pull to the next lane. No I wasn't in the blind spot (If I looked to my left the person in the drivers seat could be seen). Luckily both times there was nobody to the left of me, so I was able to swerve out of the way, but it was just crazy.
